Grades K – 5 will meet at Coolidge for “Guided Reading” with Amanda Arens

Teachers and Aides (2 CPDU’s)

 

8:00 – 8:30            SIGN-IN (Goodie Bags courtesy of Sam’s Club will be available)

 

8:45 – 9:45            Report to the following locations:

·       Kindergarten Teachers will meet in the LRC with Amanda Arens

·       1st – 5th Grade Teachers will meet by grade levels in the Multipurpose Room to review and discuss ISAT scores.

 

9:45 – 11:45          Report to the following locations:

·       Kindergarten teachers will meet in LRC to discuss science and language arts curriculum.

·       All 1st – 5th grade teachers will meet in the Multipurpose Room for “Guided Reading” training.

·       Please take a 10-minute break during this session.

 

  *Elementary Special Education teachers will attend the most appropriate grade level meeting

 

Grades 6-8 will meet at Memorial (2 CPDU’s)

 

8:00 – 8:30            SIGN-IN (Goodie Bags courtesy of Sam’s Club will be available)

 

8:45 – 9:45            Location to be announced for Classroom Management for Today’s Learners

 

9:45 – 10:00          Break

 

10:00 – 11:45        SAT Cut Scores and ISAT Analysis

 

 

* Social Workers will meet at Oak Glen to develop a list of strategies/activities for building positive self-esteem in their buildings using the “Esteem Builders” model.  As a result of this meeting a report documenting these strategies/activities needs to be filed with the district office.

 

** Health aides, library/media staff, occupational therapists, & psychologist to work in their areas.
