All K-5 Teachers and Instructional Aids will report to Coolidge

1:00 – 1:05 Opening – New gymnasium Dawn Russert

Today’s goals are to see Pat Cunningham, celebrate successes, answer questions, and document needs as we move forward together in “Putting the Children First” one “block” at a time.

1:05 – 2:10 Working with Words by Pat Cunningham

Kindergarten and first (1^st) grade teachers meet in room 38 (new wing).

Second grade teachers will meet in room 40 (new wing).

Third grade teachers will meet in room 41 (new wing).

Fourth and fifth grade teachers will meet in room 42 (new wing)

2:10 – 2:25 BREAK

2:25 – 3:20 Discussion sessions covering the following (please come prepared to share):

1. Share your success stories with “Working with Words” (Kindergarten to discuss “Building Blocks” and can move to room 39.

2. What questions or frustrations do you have?

3. Share individual and/or building goals for “Working with Words”

4. What additional training do you feel is needed?

a. For “Working with Words”

b. For moving into “Guided Reading”?

5. What additional resources do you feel is needed?

Elementary School Exceptions:
1:05 – 2:20	LRC Directors meeting at Coolidge (LRC clerks work in their libraries).
2:25 – 3:20	LRC Directors to attend different grade level meetings (as listed above)
1:05 – 3:20	Nurse to meet with health clerks.
1:05 – 3:20	Fine arts staff will meet to articulate their curriculum.
1:05 – 3:20	PE staff will meet to articulate their curriculum

All 6-8 Teachers will report to Memorial

All 6-8 Teachers except 7^th and 8^th Grade Science to meet in Multipurpose Room

1:00 – 2:00 Standards Aligned Classroom Training with Marilyn Halliday

2:00 – 2:15 BREAK

2:15 – 3:20 Standards Aligned Classroom Training Continues

7^th and 8^th Grade Science to meet in Mr. Sandow’s Room

1:00 – 2:00 Science Series Training with Prentice Hall

2:00 – 2:15 BREAK

2:15 – 3:20 Science Series Training with Prentice Hall

Departmental Meetings at Crawl

Social workers, Psychologist, Speech pathologists, Occupational therapists will hold a departmental meeting.
