Kindergarten will meet at the Admin. Center for Curriculum

Teachers and Aides

 

1:00                       SIGN-IN

 

1:00 – 3:20            All Kindergarten & preschool teachers meet in the board room to work on

curriculum.  Take one 10-minute break when needed.

 

 

Grades 1 – 5 will meet at Coolidge for “Guided Reading” with Amanda Arens

Teachers and Aides (2 CPDU’s)

 

1:00                       SIGN-IN

 

1:00 – 3:20            All 1st through 5th grade teachers report to the new gym:

·       All 1st – 5th grade teachers will meet in the Multipurpose Room for “Guided Reading – Part II” training with Amanda Ahrens.

·       Please take a 10-minute break during this session.

 

  *Elementary Special Education teachers will attend the most appropriate grade level meeting

 

Grades 6-8 will meet at Memorial (2 CPDU’s)

 

1:00                       SIGN-IN

 

1:00 – 3:20            All 6-8 teachers and social workers to report to the Multipurpose Room for

Using Multiple Intelligences in the Classroom with Dr. Darlene James.  The

Eight intelligences are:

  • Verbal/Linguistic
  • Mathematical/Logical
  • Musical/Rythmic
  • Visual/Spatial
  • Bodily/Kinesthetic
  • Naturalist
  • Intrapersonal
  • Interpersonal

 

·       Please take a 10-minute break during this session.

 

 

* Health aides, library/media staff, occupational therapists, & psychologist to work in their areas.

**  Speech specialists to work on assessments and/or services as assigned by Deborah Lambeth.
