School Improvement Half Day In-Service

Revising Building Level School Improvement Plans

ALL teachers and staff report to the location designated by your building principal (except those so noted below)

 

Agenda

 

I.                Review current year school improvement plan goal and strategies

 

II.              Present and discuss current year internal review observations and any other pertinent data

 

III.            Analyze current year SIP and next year’s DIP in light of the internal review observations and other building level data

 

IV.            Discuss and note teacher response to the internal review observations

 

V.              Goal setting for the 2005-2006 SIP

 

VI.            Develop strategies for the goals developed above (V)

 

VII.         Define how you will measure the goals and strategies above (V and VI)

 

VIII.       Wrap up as much of the plan as can be accomplished until the 2005 ISAT data arrives

 

LRC Directors to meet at Coolidge:

  1. Plan and document for Library transition for Oak Glen and Coolidge (tentative schedules, standard operating procedures, locations of materials/key information, equipment inventory, supply needs for next year, etc.)
  2. Prepare written report of your meeting turn in to Dawn Russert

 

Social Workers meeting place to be determined:

  1. Examine class lists and record transfers.
  2. Develop a list of strategies to be implemented next year that focus on helping students achieve state standards in reading and math.
  3. Develop a list of strategies to be implemented next year will focus on helping teachers and students meet the new social and emotional development standards.
  4. Prepare and turn in meeting minutes.

 

Classroom Aids to work in their respective classrooms.

Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Ed. Diagnostician to perform testing and attend meetings.

Nurse and Health Aids to update and prepare for transfer student health records.
