It is the mission of Lester Crawl School to provide early learners a strong foundation for positive educational experiences in the future.
Lester Crawl is a school where students are treated with respect and dignity. All students are offered an educational program that is aligned to the Illinois State Standards for Learning and provides a strong foundation for positive educational experiences in the future. This provides students with the core knowledge and basic skills needed to challenge them and to build character so that their lives will be productive and purposeful in a culturally diverse and competitive society. Teachers and staff are lifelong learners who believe that all children can learn and will learn when effective classroom teaching methods are used.
We encourage parents to visit Lester Crawl. Before visiting a classroom, please make an appointment with your child's teacher or with the office. We ask parents not to visit the classrooms the first two weeks of the school year. All conferences must end when the first bell rings, as teachers are required to supervise students entering the building.
The faculty and staff at Lester Crawl look forward to working with you and your child.
