Thanks to Midwest Integrated Solutions for naming District 158 their Customer of the Month! We have implemented many of their safety procedures during the current health pandemic and all of our #158Strong custodians are certified in COVID-19 cleaning procedures!
Before the start of school, new District 158 staff members participated in a 2-day orientation program socially distanced at Reavis. Topics included curriculum, best practices, trauma, safety procedures, and Professional Learning Communities. Talk about an unconventional start to a teaching career! #158Strong
District 158 is happy to welcome our new Food Services Director, Abigail Dapaah (pictured by the desk in her office at Coolidge), who joins the #158Strong A'viands team serving our grab-and-go meals on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00 to 11:00 AM. These large boxes with breakfast and lunch items are available to anyone thanks to our new CEP program. Drop by any of our schools for your meals!

District 158 is happy to partner with ECHO Joint Agreement to provide this new school in South Holland for our special education students! Dr. Schilling made a motion back on November 12, 2019 that was seconded by Dr. Cunningham of District 205 Thornton Township High Schools and unanimously approved by ECHO's Board of Directors to build this new $20 million, 95,000 square-foot building. We look forward to the anticipated opening in 2021! #158Strong
