The 2022-2023 school year concludes today with a 12:00 PM dismissal for all students. Our offices will close at 3:00 PM this afternoon. We appreciate everything our students, staff, parents, families, and other stakeholders have done to make this another successful school year.
2023-2024 Online Registration for new students will close next Wednesday, May 31. Any students who do not register by this date will be required to prove residency and complete registration when we return in August. All families are encouraged to complete registration as soon as possible. Please contact the office of your child's school with any questions.

Coolidge basketball game against Reavis on Wednesday, March 15 moved to Thursday, March 30.
Due to anticipated inclement weather, District 158 will be implementing an Emergency E-Learning Day tomorrow (Friday, March 3, 2023). Students will participate in virtual learning from home and all school buildings will be closed. Staff will be available remotely and this day will not need to be made-up at the end of the school year. Athletics and activities are cancelled tomorrow. Kindergarten registration at Reavis Elementary School is rescheduled for Thursday, March 9 , 2023.
Please be advised that all of our offices and schools will be closed at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 28 for staff crisis management training. Polling will continue to take place in designated locations at some of our buildings - observe the posted signage. Contact the office of your child's school with any questions.

Today a threat of kidnapping was made on the social media app TikTok towards Coolidge Elementary School, a copy of which is attached. The credibility of this threat cannot be determined. Additional police and administrative presence, both marked and unmarked, will be present at Coolidge for dismissal this afternoon and throughout the week. Families may arrange pickup of their children at their discretion. Any changes to student pickup should be communicated to the Main Office.

Unfounded Bomb Threat 12-15-22
This afternoon, an unfounded bomb threat was identified by a Lansing resident on the app Ring. The police have indicated that this threat does not identify any specific school, originated in New York, and is not credible. However, as a precaution, thorough administrative walk-throughs with police are being completed at each of our schools. District 158 is prepared to initiate offsite evacuation procedures of any of our buildings should a credible, specific threat be identified. At this time, all students and staff are safe.
